Advice for a Young AD Dealing with Parent Issues with Tony Dillingham – Jenks Public Schools (OK)

Parents want to be heard and it is important to listen. Tony Dillingham explains that parents want to know that you care and get your honest perspective on the current issues with their child. He encourages players to meet with coaches to help resolve any issues that the athlete is experiencing. When coaches meet with parents, he recommends that the athlete is present in the meeting along with another coach.
