The interview process for hiring head coaches starts with a selected committee and progresses to the 2nd interview with the AD, Principal, and Superintendent. After the interviews Tony asks himself if he would want his son or daughter to play for the coaching candidate. He stresses that X’s and O’s and schemes are always important, but the goal is to hire the very best Coach who will work the kids hard, teach them life lessons and serve as a role model.
