Stress Can be Related to Both Internal and External Factors with Will Hostrawser – LaVille Senior HS (IN)

August 6, 2018 • By ADInsider

The people you work with on a daily basis and the relationships you have with them will dictate the majority of your external stress factors.

Don't let your surroundings dictate your behavior! It is important to understand where your stress is coming from and what factors make you more stressed than others.

Controlling your internal stress factors will lead to an increase in overall health and happiness.

External Stress Factors include your physical environment, your job, relationships with others, your home, and all the situations, challenges, difficulties, and expectations you're confronted with on a daily basis (factors that act on you).

Internal Stress Factors determine your body's ability to respond to, and deal with, the external stress-inducing factors. They also influence your ability to handle stress, include your nutritional status, overall health and fitness levels, emotional well being, and the amount of sleep and rest you get (factors you can act on).
