Watch as Coach Butch Chaffin explains and demonstrates pitching motion and delivery. Many young pitchers have a slow motion then try to speed up delivering the ball to the plate. Coach tells his pitchers that as soon as the knee starts downward, get the ball out of the glove and make your hand go fast. Most of his pitchers have added 2 to 3 miles per hour on their pitches.
