Watch as Coach Robert Ruiz explains the Sosa Hitting Drill which simulates a batter being fooled on a pitch. The batter has 60% of their weight on the front leg, making sure to keep the hands back and try to hit the ball as hard as possible from that position. Place the player in an awkward position and teach them that they can still hit the ball if they keep their hands back.
