Watch as Coach Kyle Flood explains and shows practice clips of 'man reach' inside zone targets. Defensive alignments will determine the guard or tackles' assignments. The offensive lineman must determine if the defender is on or off his body. If they are on the body the lineman must lead with his nose to the defender's middle, striking and moving him and using the inside hand to finish. If the defender is off the body, the target is placing the helmet on inside number and the 2nd step must be up field. Coach points out examples of good as well as bad technique.
